Bench Joiner

Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: -18.00 - -22.50 per hour (DOE)

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer specialising in traditional timber windows, doors and heritage joinery. Based in a fully equipped workshop, this role is ideal for an experienced Bench Joiner who takes pride in producing high-quality craftsmanship. Around 80% of the work focuses on traditional joinery, including timber windows and doors, with the remaining 20% covering bespoke kitchens, cabinetry and fitted furniture.-

The Role

• Manufacture traditional timber windows, doors and heritage joinery from technical drawings.
• Produce high-quality joinery using both hardwoods and softwoods.
• Operate a range of woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout production.
• Work closely with the workshop team to ensure projects are completed to a high standard and on schedule.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Bench Joiner within a workshop environment.
• Strong experience manufacturing traditional timber windows and doors.
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
• Competent using standard woodworking machinery and hand tools.
• A positive attitude with pride in producing high-quality bespoke joinery.
