Our client is a well-established , small and friendly care home based in Wokingham. They pride themselves in providing high quality care and support in a homely environment and have earned an excellent reputation in the area.

They are currently looking for an experienced Care Assistant for a part-time day shift position, working approximately 24-30 hours per week. There is an opportunity for this post to expand to full-time.

As part of the role, you will provide person centred care and support to their elderly clients whilst promoting independence and respecting their wishes at-all times.

Their shift patterns are 8am-2pm; 2pm-8pm, 8am-8pm and you would be required to work some weekends.

Please note that they do not currently offer sponsorship for this role.

Requirements:

Previous experience of working in an elderly care home or in a domiciliary setting

The ability to work shifts, including some weekends -

Drivers are preferred as public transport is less accessible at the weekends

£12.71 - £12.95 per hour
