Driver Support Services are looking for a reliable and professional Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV Driver to join our growing team, delivering steel products to customers across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who takes pride in providing a safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport steel products to customer sites.
• Secure loads correctly in accordance with industry standards and company procedures.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time.
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and digital records where required.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally.
• Comply with all driver hours, tachograph, and health & safety regulations.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Experience delivering steel or other heavy loads is preferred but not essential.
• Good understanding of load restraint and safe loading practices.
• A strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime when required.
