CNC Turners | CNC Miller Setter/Operators | CNC Miller -Operators

Location: Bristol
Shift: Day Shift
Salary: -14.00 - -17+ per hour (depending on role, skills and experience)

Actio Recruitment are proudly supporting a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company in Bristol with the recruitment of experienced CNC Machinists. Due to continued workload, we are looking to speak with skilled:

CNC Turners

CNC Miller Setter/Operators

CNC Miller Operators

Available Positions

CNC Turner

  • Operating and setting CNC lathes
  • Working from engineering drawings and specifications
  • Producing high-precision components to tight tolerances
  • Conducting in-process inspection of components
  • Ensuring quality standards and production targets are met

CNC Miller Setter/Operator

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Producing components from engineering drawings
  • Performing tool changes and offset adjustments
  • Inspecting finished components using standard measuring equipment
  • Working to tight tolerances and quality requirements

CNC Miller Operator

  • Operating CNC milling machinery within a production environment
  • Loading, running and inspecting components
  • Undertaking basic tooling and offset adjustments
  • Reading engineering drawings and following manufacturing instructions
  • Maintaining quality and productivity standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous CNC machining experience within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers, micrometers and gauges
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable, motivated and able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Apprenticeship or engineering qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential
