Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a leading team delivering high-end commercial office fit-out projects across London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and technically strong engineer to work on prestigious, design-led projects, delivering premium office environments for high-profile clients. The successful candidate will play a key role in the coordination, technical delivery and installation of electrical services, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate electrical installations across luxury commercial office fit-out projects.
Oversee electrical subcontractors, ensuring works are delivered in line with programme, specifications and quality standards.
Review electrical drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
Coordinate with mechanical engineers, project managers, architects and other specialist subcontractors.
Ensure all electrical works comply with current UK regulations, standards and health and safety requirements.
Monitor installation progress, quality control and commissioning activities.
Assist with technical problem-solving and resolving site-based engineering issues.
Ensure projects are delivered to the client's expectations, particularly in relation to quality, finish and attention to detail.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer within commercial fit-out or building services.
Experience working on high-end or luxury office fit-out projects would be highly advantageous.
Strong understanding of electrical building services, including power, lighting, distribution and associated systems.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good knowledge of UK electrical regulations and industry standards.
Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced project environment.
