We are seeking a skilled and fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Vehicle Technician Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections, diagnostics, and fault-finding on vehicles using both manual techniques and diagnostic equipment.

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and servicing in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

  • Replace or repair vehicle components including brakes, engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical systems, and other mechanical parts.

  • Ensure vehicles meet safety and emission standards before delivery.

  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.

  • Provide clear and professional advice to colleagues and customers regarding vehicle condition and necessary repairs.

  • Keep up to date with industry developments, tools, and technology.

  • Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety guidelines and procedures.

  • Support junior technicians through guidance and training where required.

Vehicle Technician Qualifications & Experience:

  • Recognized qualification in automotive or vehicle technology (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

  • Proven experience as a fully qualified Vehicle Technician in a workshop or dealership environment.

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and computer-based systems.

  • Valid driver's license with no more than 6 points.
