Class 2 (HGV) Driver - £40,000 - £50,000 including overtime per annum

Location: Haddenham
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 including overtime per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 5:30 am

Strive Staffing Solutions are recruiting on behalf of an established, family-run business specialising in lifting equipment and mechanical handling solutions.

We are looking for a reliable and professional Class 2 Driver to join their team in Aylesbury. The role involves delivering specialist mechanical equipment to customer sites, with a large proportion of deliveries in London.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, prioritises safety and enjoys being part of a supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver equipment safely to customer sites, including locations across London.

  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and follow safe loading and unloading procedures.

  • Complete delivery paperwork accurately.

  • Maintain professional relationships with customers and site teams.

  • Communicate any delivery issues to the transport office.

  • Support colleagues with loading and unloading when required.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.

  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.

  • Professional, safe and responsible approach to driving.

  • Comfortable with physically demanding work and deliveries into London.

  • Reliable, punctual and organised, with a positive, team-focused attitude.

  • Willingness to follow procedures and learn about specialist equipment.
