Management Accountant - Competitive Salary - Bracknell (Hybrid)
Are you a qualified Management Accountant with experience in a product-led business? Do you enjoy working across multiple entities, solving complex accounting challenges and turning numbers into clear, useful insight?
We're looking for a Management Accountant to join a growing international distribution group with several European subsidiaries.
This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week based in the Bracknell office.
The role
You'll play a key part in the finance team, taking ownership of accounting and reporting across individual European entities while supporting the preparation of consolidated Group management accounts.
It's a varied role covering consolidation, intercompany accounting, inventory, cashflow, budgeting and forecasting, with plenty of opportunity to improve processes as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
andmiddot; Prepare monthly Group consolidated management accounts
andmiddot; Produce accounts for individual European entities
andmiddot; Prepare clear reporting for the Board, lenders and other stakeholders
andmiddot; Manage Xero ledgers and key accounting entries
andmiddot; Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
andmiddot; Manage inventory accounting, valuation and system reconciliations
andmiddot; Reconcile intercompany transactions and balances
andmiddot; Produce weekly Group cashflow reporting
andmiddot; Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts
andmiddot; Support improvements to finance systems, controls and processes
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
andmiddot; Experience within a product-led or stock-holding business
andmiddot; Strong multi-entity and consolidation experience
andmiddot; ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
andmiddot; Strong balance sheet and reconciliation skills
andmiddot; Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
andmiddot; Understanding of UK and European VAT principles
andmiddot; Advanced Excel skills
andmiddot; A confident, practical approach to resolving complex accounting issues
