Vision for Education is working in partnership with a thriving secondary school in Preston, Lancashire to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of MFL (Spanish). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Teacher of MFL (Spanish) to inspire students and join a highly successful languages department from September 2026.

Teacher of MFL (Spanish) | Outstanding Secondary School | Preston, Lancashire

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of MFL (Spanish) for a long-term temporary role in Preston, Lancashire, starting in September 2026 with no set end date. The successful Teacher of MFL (Spanish) will predominantly teach Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to deliver some Key Stage 3 French lessons.

This well-regarded secondary school in Preston, Lancashire was rated Outstanding in all areas during its most recent Ofsted inspection and is recognised for its high expectations, excellent pupil behaviour and strong academic outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level
  • Ability to teach French at Key Stage 3 would be advantageous
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent subject knowledge and communication skills
  • A commitment to raising achievement and engaging learners
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
