Personal Shopper & Delivery Driver | Dover CT16 2NL | -18.00 per hour | Starts Tuesday 6 October | 8:00am to 9:00pm | Two-day temporary assignment-|-Own car required-
Meridian Business Support is recruiting Personal Shopper & Delivery Drivers on behalf of our client to support the launch of a new supermarket fulfilment and home delivery service in Dover CT16 2NL.-
This is an active, customer-facing role combining order picking, retail support and customer deliveries. You'll work independently using a company-provided device to manage orders, pick products and deliver completed orders directly to customers when required.

What we're looking for
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Online Order Picker, Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Store Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or Fulfilment Operative would be advantageous but is not essential.

- Checking orders before dispatch
- Delivering customer orders using your own vehicle

- Following clear processes and working independently
What we're looking for
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Confident using apps, smartphones and touchscreen technology
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer-focused with good communication skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, Online Order Picker, Retail Assistant, Warehouse Operative, Store Assistant, Customer Service Assistant or Fulfilment Operative would be advantageous but is not essential.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to a suitable, roadworthy car
- Social, Domestic & Pleasure insurance
- Ability to obtain Hire & Reward insurance before making deliveries
- Right to Work documentation and photographic ID
