Project Manager - Utility-Scale Solar

Location: Dundee / Site Based
Contract: Long-term contract
Rate: Up to -450 per day

We are supporting the delivery of a major utility-scale ground-mounted solar project in the Dundee area and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join the project team.

The role will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the project across construction, programme, commercial performance, subcontractor management, grid interfaces and commissioning.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead delivery of a utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV project

  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and key project stakeholders

  • Manage programme, budgets, forecasting and project risks

  • Oversee construction progress against agreed milestones

  • Support procurement and subcontractor packages

  • Manage client and project stakeholder relationships

  • Coordinate HV, grid connection and commissioning activities

  • Ensure HSE, quality and contractual requirements are maintained

  • Support project handover and completion

Essential experience:

  • Strong recent utility-scale ground-mounted Solar PV experience

  • Previous EPC or major renewable construction project experience

  • Experience managing projects through construction, commissioning and handover

  • Strong subcontractor and commercial management capability

  • Experience of HV/grid connection interfaces

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree / NVQ Level 7 equivalent

Qualifications / certifications:

  • CITB Health, Safety & Environment Test for Managers & Professionals

  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent project management training desirable

  • Valid UK driving licence

Experience working alongside DNOs and ICPs would be highly advantageous.

BESS experience would also be beneficial.
