Avanti-Recruitment-is-working-with-a-Precision-Engineering-business-based-near-Oxford-who-are-hiring-for-a-Quality-Engineer-to-join-the-team.-

This-is-an-excellent-opportunity-for-somebody-who-enjoys-being-close-to-the-engineering-and-manufacturing-process-rather-than-working-in-a-purely-systems-or-auditing-focused-quality-position.

You'll-join-a-small-quality-team-of-2,-supporting-the-manufacture-of-complex,-high-specification-components.-The-work-is-varied,-so-you'll-be-dealing-with-different-engineering-and-quality-challenges-rather-than-repetitive,-high-volume-production.

The-Role

You'll-be-responsible-for-a-broad-range-of-hands-on-quality-engineering-activities,-including:

• Interpreting-complex-engineering-drawings-and-GD&T
• Supporting-manufacturing-with-day-to-day-quality-issues
• Managing-non-conformances-and-corrective-actions
• Root-cause-analysis-and-problem-solving
• Supporting-inspection-and-measurement-activities
• Producing-and-reviewing-quality-and-inspection-documentation
• Working-closely-with-production-and-engineering-teams
• Supporting-customer-and-supplier-quality-requirements
• Contributing-to-quality-systems-and-continuous-improvement
• Supporting-audits-and-quality-control-activities

What-We're-Looking-For

We're-looking-for-somebody-with:

• Quality-Engineering-experience-within-an-engineering-or-manufacturing-environment
• Strong-knowledge-of-GD&T
• Confidence-interpreting-complex-engineering-drawings
• Practical,-hands-on-manufacturing-quality-experience
• Experience-dealing-with-NCRs,-root-cause-analysis-and-corrective-actions
• Experience-within-precision-engineering,-aerospace,-defence,-nuclear-or-another-complex-engineering-environment
• A-stable-career-history-and-an-interest-in-a-long-term-permanent-position

Experience-with-CMMs,-PC-DMIS,-ISO-standards-or-quality-auditing-would-be-beneficial.-

The-company-is-particularly-interested-in-people-accustomed-to-complex-and-varied-engineering-rather-than-purely-repetitive,-high-volume-production.

Package

Salary:-Up-to55,000-depending-on-experience

-Holiday:-23-days-plus-bank-holidays

-Pension:-4%-matched-following-probation

Working-Hours

Monday-to-Thursday:-8:00am-to-4:30pm

-Friday:-8:00am-to-3:30pm
