Our client is a well-established main contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across London and the Home Counties. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.

Responsibilities
- Managing project costs from inception through to final account
- Procuring subcontractor packages
- Preparing and issuing subcontract orders
- Managing subcontractor accounts
- Producing valuations and applications for payment
- Preparing cost reports and forecasts
- Identifying and managing project risks
- Pricing variations and change control
- Working closely with operational teams to maximise project profitability
- Maintaining strong client relationships
- Assisting with procurement strategies
- Ensuring contractual compliance
- Supporting successful project delivery
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a UK main contractor
- Strong knowledge of JCT contracts
- New build and refurbishment experience
- Commercially astute
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Degree qualified (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence
- £65,000 - £80,000 basic salary
