Client Information
Our client is a well-established residential developer delivering high-quality new build housing schemes across the West Midlands. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of new build residential developments, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Site Manager Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of new build housing developments from inception through to completion.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
- Oversee all health & safety procedures, ensuring full compliance with company policies and legislation.
- Manage Section Agreements with highways and utility providers through to adoption.
- Support the design team and provide technical input throughout the construction process.
- Monitor build quality and ensure compliance with current Building Regulations, NHBC, and LABC standards.
- Develop and manage site programmes, ensuring efficient build sequencing and project delivery.
- Maintain site records, progress reports, and project documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure works are completed to the highest standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Site Manager Requirements
- Proven track record delivering new build residential developments, including social housing schemes.
- Strong technical construction knowledge with the ability to support design and construction teams.
- Experience managing Section Agreements with highways and utility providers.
- Strong programming skills with a thorough understanding of build sequencing.
- Experience delivering both traditional build and timber frame housing developments.
- Excellent understanding of current Building Regulations and NHBC / LABC standards.
- Strong leadership and man-management skills with experience overseeing subcontractors and consultants.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and general IT systems.
- Highly organised with strong planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
