THE ROLE
As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to the highest standards, ensuring vehicles are returned to customers safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
andmiddot;Performing a variety of vehicle servicing and maintenance operations
andmiddot;Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently
andmiddot;Completing defined assembly operations and maintenance repairs to a high standard
andmiddot;Ensuring compliance with manufacturer and health & safety standards
andmiddot;Accurately documenting all service and repair work completed
andmiddot;Supporting colleagues to maintain workshop productivity and efficiency
andmiddot;Providing technical advice and support when required
andmiddot;Delivering excellent workmanship and customer satisfaction

ABOUT YOU
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
andmiddot;NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential)
andmiddot;At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within the automotive industry
andmiddot;Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic abilities
andmiddot;MOT Tester licence desirable but not essential
andmiddot;Ownership of your own tools and toolbox
andmiddot;A positive attitude with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
andmiddot;Full UK manual driving licence (subject to licence checks)
andmiddot;The right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available)
Alternative job titles may include: Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Service Technician, Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Car Mechanic.
